Rune Factory 4Positives:.Datin' (with the ability to harem it out and date every possible bachelor/bacherette at once with zero consequences aside from not able to access some things only marriage unlocks like a kid).Farmin'.Tamin' almost any monsters out on the field.good voice acting.great fleshed out (although quirky) npcs who say something new literally every day and have tons of things to say in general. Like if you're having a kid everybody has like two different things they'll comment on it every day and people close to your wife/husband like their brother/sister will say something unique about it too. I've played all three. They have similar dynamics. Start of with nothing and grow with hard work and grinding.Story of seasons focuses on farming and less on character improvement. You build up your farm and personal items and relationships but not as much gain in character strength or abilities.

Very much of a grind but later on you find yourself with too much needing done. There isn't much of a storyline.Fantasy Life is mostly character improvement. Lots of quests, battling, and doing jobs/professions. No real farming.

STORY OF SEASONS is the beginning of a new chapter in the 'Bokujo Monogatari' series, a long-standing and top-selling farming/life simulation franchise.

You gain houses and equipment and improve relationships. This is also slightly grindy but has a storyline to drive it along.Rune Factory 4 is a hybrid of both. There is farming and character development. You grow crops, raise farm or battle animals. There is an interesting storyline to keep the grindy feeling down but if that is what you want they're is plenty of farming to do, both literal and figuratively speaking.Rune Factory 4 is my favorite.

And friends who like grind casual games also enjoy it. Sorry of Seasons is my second choice but other can find it repetitive. I wasn't a fan of Fantasy Life because of its lack of 'empire building' but it had the greatest potential for things to do and most other gamers love it. I love Story of Seasons. Pokemon puzzle league blaine theme.

Played Rune Factory 4 beforehand and hated it. The problem for me is Rune Factory 4 does a bunch of things, but none of them really well. I'd rather have Story of Seasons and have really great farming, than have Rune Factory with okay farming, mediocre combat, bad romance sim, etc. Now sacrificing quality for more options may be what you prefer, and there's nothing wrong with that. Just gotta decide if you wanted a dedicated farming game or something that does a little of everything.

It's hard to get invested in Rune Factory 4 despite all the praise it gets for covering all the bases. I picked it up due to the widespread acclaim but it feels to me like they're spreading everything out too thin, trying to mash together concepts without really polishing them. I'd rather just go for a pure farming experience with Story of Seasons or some other JRPG for more polished combat.Fantasy Life, on the other hand, is something which I felt handled the genre-mashing beautifully. The story and world they built is vast, expansive, and populated with very interesting characters and lores. You are given a lot of flexibility to play the game how you like, but this flexibility still allows you to feel fully immersed in the game's world because the mechanics, gameplay animation and customization options makes sense within the game's lore.

And I think that flexibility is very different from Rune Factory 4's flexibility partly because the latter's customization, animation and gameplay mechanics felt much more clunky and out of place within the game's lore. For example, during combat, it doesn't feel like the character is actually fighting believable enemies on the screen because they lack the nuanced animations that most action RPGs have, opting instead for bland and generic animations that make it feel more like billiards than actual combat.But the fact is that RF4 is still a great game, it's just not to my taste. All three games are really good but I suggest you try out each individual one to see if they're to your tastes.

Have you ever been bored with your dull job and wanted to find a peaceful place, where there is no pressure of everyday life, or simply you want to have moments of entertainment? Gentle, then come to the world of Story of Seasons. The story begins when the player is living in the city and feels the current job does not suit him, while depressed players see a brochure recruiting farmers for the town of Oak Tree Town. Bet all players to give up their current job to register and gain admission, from here on a new life begins. At the beginning of the game, you will customize your character including gender, hair, costume, etc. In the beginning process, there will be many other farmers to help you. Like other Harvest Moon games, you can plant, care and harvest a variety of plants. The animals are also very diverse for you to raise, you can even create a sanctuary to feed wild animals like monkeys, parrots, etc. for people to visit. There are many festivals taking place in a year when the town opens competitions between farmers and the reward is the land to expand cultivation over a period of time. It is not enough if not mention the community relationships of the game, in this town you can interact with many NPCs acting as residents in the town. Your relationship will be good or deteriorates depending on how you react in conversations. Depending on your gender, you can flirt or even marry up to six other characters. When the affection level is close enough, you can propose marriage or that person will propose to you.
