Yes, there are, but they are risky. I've heard of one that you

do by altering the .sol file, I personally think it's too much

trouble, the one I use is the 'right click' one. to gain powerful

items and valuable exp, go to any fight, and right click. There

will be a Forward option, click it. Keep clicking it until you

reach two wasps, one of which will be called 'Other Thing.' Click

it once more and you will see the screen go dark, this is good. It

means that if you click it one more time, you will INSTANTLY WIN

THE FIGHT. This always gives a mere 75 Exp, but if you are just

starting the game this will make it incredibly easy to gain levels,

plus, after a few times you get 'Fallen Shield' and 'Fallen Sword'

items that are ONLY accessible at the end of the game, in the

hardest portal!

Improve youre cheats carefully before you will post in internet

explorer!!!!!!!

theres is an easier way to lvl up. first u do the 'right click'

thing until u reach a shadow reaper. if u kill it u get good 4 u.

if u die right click back until u reach the page where u get xp. u

will get 700xp and some money. also if u lvl up, hit continue and

chose a stat u want to lvl up, hit continue again and use a skill

point. then hit right click back until u reach the page were u get

xp. the reamaining xp u should have gotten will

double!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After doing the above, right click back and keep going till you

reach the lvl up page. each time u got back u will gain a lvl. Once

you get to the point where you don't lvl up each time, keep going

back until you cycle back to the shadow reaper. Do this again.

A quick way to get money is to go to the leaf guy and get full

leaves. then do the forward thing until you arrive at the lady.

Somehow, all the characters in previous rooms follow you, so the

leaf guy is five feet away.

It's a great flash RPG that can be found right on top of the Portal's best rated list, not to mention glazing the front page. If you haven't played it yet (which I highly doubt) check it out now! This is only a helping thread for those that can't beat the game; I haven't tried a mana-bomb sorcerer yet. Level 18 avenger that does around 3000 damage.

Here's a walkthrough for this type of build:Overall: You will be using Avenger as your primary killing spell. Avenger works by increasing your damage by percent of life you lost from your total amount of HP. Usually it's an asininely huge percent, if enough pts are spent into it. The more max hp you have, the more damage it will end up doing. Therefore, you would WANT to have low hp - it's ok, an average monster (save the metal golem) in the game never deals enough to kill you in one hit.

You just have to know the threshhold, when you can say 'hit me' or go for that life potion. It's somewhat like blackjack.Gear:This Walkthrough deals with skill allocation rather than gear. Until like level 10 I used a hammer that dealt extra damage to shields.

You may do whatever you want, but I suggest something with good defence/res (just so the enemy does not kill you with 1 hit). Remember the longer you can stay without gulping down that healing potion, the more damage Avenger will do.If your exp almost nears level up, don't waste gold to heal yourself, instead head to the training arena and hit the spire (on hardest level) for enough to level you up. You can exit the training arena anytime you want during the battle and it will still record your exp. Not only will you be more ready for your next fight, but you'll also receive a free full heal!Potions:Very important. I found that 75% of my gold went into pots - you should have at least 20+life and mana potions for the entire duration of the game!

Sometimes you get into a potion cramp, where you will have to drink a potion each turn just to stay alive - you certainly do not want to run out all of a sudden do you?Level 1-5First and foremost, get the gear from the first floor weapons vendor (all the items) by running around selling that medicine. Focus on strength above all others. I'd say put 2 levels into str. And 2 into vit.(life) and 1 to speed allocating as fit.

Early on the game it really isn't important how you allocate your skill points, but I suggest about 1 in every prereq and 2 into double strike. The reason for that is because the Jump attack is far too inaccurate and Speed strike requires speed, which you will have very little. Until Avenger/Split, Double Strike will be your primary skill.Level 5-10Inner strength. All of them into inner strength. Because you will need it for Executioner at level 15.

Because Avenger will not be powerful enough yet to be considered effective at level 15. 1 pt into speed, 3 vitality, 1 into strength.Levels 10-15Put a point into Split as it is very useful when your enemy is around its fullest HP (it does damage based on the enemy's total life). You will still be surviving with a Double Strike/Split formula (not to mention a belt full of potions!) Everything else to Avenger. 4 vit, 1 speedLevels 15 and up.Put one point into Executioner. First of all it's a very fun skill to use. And we want to have fun, right?

Secondly, it is more effective than split (thanks to Inner Strength) - you will be using it instead of Avenger at the beginning of the battles. For later, every point goes into Avenger and vitality.So.well that's it folks, It isn't rocket science. I'm not going to provide walkthroughs on how to beat the bosses - you're going to have to figure it out for yourself. Besides they are not that hard to beat - the secret is potions and having your hp as low as possible (even if you have say 400 hp, let them damage you until around the amount enough so that you won't die in the next turn). I'm going to try the mana-ball sorcerer now - don't worry it won't follow up with another long article like this. Heh, I was working on a guide for this game.

If I can get it formatted right, I'll post a list of all the equipment in the game. In the meanwhile, here are some tips:Get the ring from the sitting guy in room 9, and activate it for a free skill point (normally gained by levelling up) by standing in front of the moon in room 7 and pressing SPACE.

Best to do this at the start of the gameFor free money, take White Leaves from the trader in room 3 to the woman in room 6. Then take the medicines back to the trader for 3 gold apiece. One of the most important things to do at the start of the game (thanks to TheJoe for this tip) is to choose the right-hand skills path first when you level up (regardless of your fighter type), and make your way as quickly as possible down to CHARGE and HEAL. Level them up to 2+, it’ll save you a ton of money on potions.Once you’re at level 5+, a good way to level up is to head for the training room, and choose Training Level 2. The way to get the maximum points here is to destroy the Training Ward’s shield, and then use a low-hit attack such as Shurikens. When you’re one hit away from destroying the Ward, resort to CHARGE and HEAL until the ward heals itself; then recommence attacking. Keep doing this until your ENG reaches less than 5, and then destroy the ward or quit training.

If this was a full-length RPG, then skills like Charge and Heal would be completely useless (other than that they would save you some time and coins), but since you're not looking for long-term benefits, then some points into these would do fine. I had a Blizzard's Diablo II Classic barb, and I didn't put any points into Potion Find and no leech, but I made it up by using better equipment and skill selection (it's excusable not to use leech in D2 classic). The reason I'm bringing this up is because this game has a lot of similarities to Sinjid. I beat the game just fine without healing spells, and still had most of the equipment available (without the endlessly redundant old lady runs).

The only thing I didn't buy was 'Golden Armor' and I was only a few coins short, so I spent them on pots instead. I'm a pothead, no matter what RPG I play, I always use pills/potions. Both can be successful - personally I never liked living on the edge, which is why I never used the low-HP accessories in Final Fantasy.

Whatever, people can read all the stuff and make their own mind up as to how they are going to approach the game, the more info, the better. I guess we wont find out, maybe not though.Noooooo, TheJoe was the one that suggested the Heal/Charge spells. Veerwhil's going straight for the jugular. Veerwhil's going straight for the jugular. =)Indeed, i didnt actually see the guys second post, so i retract that statement.I just completed it, and to say one thing, the final boss was shit. Way way too easy in my books. Completed the game on level 17, gold sword/armour, i did use Avenger once or twice, but mostly the jump attack.

I will try it another way soon though. The game is increadibly fun.Next up for me is the assassin guy, dodges moves does he, well lets see how many i can dodge. At 1/7/05 04:37 AM, Krinn wrote:Wow.

You've went through a lot to get all that info. It's a great game, so I'm thoroughly enjoying playing it. Code & graphics are too sweet. How long did it take Joan to draw all the stuff?

You could've asked me and I would've gladly given all the stats to you. I have a frame-set in fla. Form with ALL the enemy stats in them if that intrests you. Includes all the damage, exp, gold, defence, shield defence, everything.I'd have to be stupid to say no to that offer. So yes, please, could you email it to denvishREMOVETHIS.com, and I'll update the page. I'll probably do a table for the enemies; I'm not intending to do a walkthrough as susch, just some lists and whatever tips And that's a friggin cool map. Thanks, did it in Flash.

I started a new game with a shadow assassin and im trying to build his magic up quick quickly. The problem arises with this around level 12 of the human portal, despite being faster by quite alot, (im around level 6, 30 speed) but the guys can take off more harm than i can heal which is a big problem.

I guess im just going to have to buy more healing potions which is a total bitch.Found a rather painful glitch by the way. Despite being only level 6 i bought one of the Monster portals armour from the shop. Once you buy it and you dont have enough strength to fit it, you have to sell it (you cant put it back) which is rather costly. The strategy requires you to be able to destroy the ward's shield ASAP though, and you'd need Heal and Charge on reasonable (2+) levels.

Then you can use the skill points you gain from levelling up to boost your Heal and Charge skills, which should help you in battle. Found a rather painful glitch by the way. So it's not so much a glitch, as you being too ambitious. I had level 6 heal, level 4 mp charge and level 10 mana bomb, man does it work a treat. Killed the final boss in 3 moves. I had something like 58 speed, which helped alot, and it was sweet when the second last boss, couldnt hit me for a while.Well next up i think its going to be the warrior dude. I still havent cleared level 18 for my character yet, may do so tonight. Heh u cant forget ninja has their things too.

When u train with ninja, put alot in speed and u should have some on strength too because for more weapons you will need some for attacks. When your a ninja, u dont buy anything. They cost soo much for you in the beginning so just go train at training room for a while. Somewhat when u get your skill points and put 1 in stab and put all on speed strike. When its level 10, start puting skills 1 on each so you can reach shadow replicate which is good when you reach a higher level. Then you put it all on shadow blend and after that, put all in replicate.

Great thing about ninjas is that you wont have to use mana pots or health pots alot. Now when you keep training on training room, you train till you reach lvl 5.

After that, you should train on the human gateway, after that do anything you want to your stats but stick with the skills.PS: Can someone tell me how to use the old ring??
